As fate would have it, in 2010, he departed, leaving a void that words will never fill. In the intersection of these two poignant years – 1998 and 2010 – emerged the name "98ten."

After searching for ways to heal, it wasn't until recent that creating candles became my therapy. The process of creating something tangible and beautiful allowed me to hold onto the precious memories of Tahsaan. In sharing these candles with you, I continue on his legacy according to the Swahili meaning of his name - Bringer of Great Joy - and extend to you an invitation into a world where healing, remembrance, and love intertwine.
